like every single person who talked yesterday for the class, '09 will definitely be the greatest class of students coming out of piedmont, and you will ALL make a huge impact on the world; i definitely believe that!! you people are amazing and have the greatest contributions to life. live on to be great!!

| i'm 17! i'm so old!! haha well school was fun having 7 30 minute classes :D o'regan decided to have us do 7? book problems and that was just extremely boring i don't want to think about math on the last day of school!! lol apes we took notes which were ok i guess? i think i was kinda spacing out being really giddy and birthday-y. apush was fun! we watched wizard of oz and aldridge used it as a metaphor for america around 1900 which was incredible but now i'm never going to be able to think about wizard of oz the same! + we got our DBQs back which were ok? maybe? umm physics was amusing to say the least. flying attempts xD i almost don't remember that class ... then english was cool watched great gatsby, had food, got serenaded by clara, attacked by david black and brendan bardellini, and had my birthday announced to everyone and such. psychology didn't really do anything just said what our min-studies were about and then talked about an Random Act Of Kindness. mandarin we had shen laoshi and we had to do a 1 minute discussion on a question we chose which wasn't too bad. and then i walked home listening to ^that amazing song which i <3 so much!! and now i'm here looking at all the sugar i have and how i love justine for being somewhat sane and giving me 3 (now 2) tangerines :D so all in all birthday wasn't too bad and my family's coming home soon? so yay!
karen hang out time? :D i need to find out if my parents are going to let me out of the house though. because knowing them, they'll try to keep me locked up and studying SAT/ACT/school/college/etc.

| omg yesterday's practice was so much fun!! :) haha so we got to practice with the cal's men's volleyball team and they are jump RIDICULOUSLY high!!! and their hits are like AMAZING!!! i am sooo like high from practicing with them!! and i was so proud because i dug out one of the guy's hits! :D but actually the funniest part of the whole thing was the fact that like half of the team consisted of "hapas" as amy calls them. but when natalie, clara, and i were driving up from stan's we saw the entire men's team walking to the gym and next thing i knew was clara was screaming her head off because we were going to be in a gym full of asians!! xD but actually like some of them were really .. hot! omg it is ridiculous!! haha and then clara's just like "you don't like asians" and i was just thinking, yeah i don't like asian guys that much but THOSE GUYS ARE INCREDIBLE!! they were soooo hot!! half-asians all the way!!! (cameron -omfg, first guy i noticed :P) lol but also they were really nice! :) i was so happy because i hit pretty well yesterday haha and i hit THROUGH AND AROUND THEIR HUGEASS BLOCKS!! i mean seriously their arms were like 3 feet over the net!!! aaah!!! but i was happy cause then one of them (colin -i'm not a stalker, he's a pretty cute white guy :P) congratulated me on my hit :) and i mean, i don't hit. so to have a big volleyball player who's extremely good to say "nice hit" is a real adrenaline rush. so yesterday was a pretty fun practice. ignoring the bitchiness radiating off from a certain bitch on the team.
ncs on saturday!! 7 at the gym!! :) come watch us play!! :)

| wow it's only been a month of school and i'm already failing classes. o'regan is so incredibly boring! i can finish the day's homework while he's talking about the previous homework that is so sad!! plus i aced our first test :) apes sucks cause you can never get 100% in that class on anything!! ok well fine, you can, but still! it's blah!! and it's kinda boring but fun at the same time. it's a chill class though, i guess. apush is amazing! i know i'm probably not doing very well in the class, but i still love it so much!! i actually feel like i'm learning!! in fact i used some stuff i learned in the class in my practice essay for SAT, which made me feel so proud! and i love ms aldrige; she's so amazing with her teaching! i hate physics though. i really really hate it! i don't understand anything in the class, i'm currently failing it, and im just not in the mood for math. idk, i just really really don't like math right now and i really really don't like physics. makes me miss chemistry with huffaker. at least we did interesting stuff that were so much easier to understand!! ugh! english is ok. i like labberton and all, but i hate the scarlet letter, and i really don't want to write an essay on a stupid theme in the book; i can't even think of a thesis to write. and david black is weird, btw :P i love psychology. i love cota. i love everyone in my class. i just love it all! except the book questions cause i never want to do them ^__^ mandarin sucks. ms yu is being incredibly strict and it's so annoying, and she still isn't speaking mandarin to us; instead she says everything in english. and i'm failing that class too.
volleyball sucks, for many reasons. at the same time, it's fun. basically, i've lost my position on the court so that really sucks. i never really have any playing time, but i guess it's kinda my fault. and also anna for being so damn good lol. also we lost to albany. it was hideous. i hate albany so much, SO EVERYONE SHOULD COME TO OUR ALBANY GAME AT HOME ON OCTOBER 16!!!!!!! jv is at 4, varsity is at 5:15, generally. plus it's ok because albany lost to salesian yesterday, which means that albany, salesian, and us are tied with 1 loss each. which means we are SO frickin' kicking ass this year!! st mary's on tuesday at home.
i have no life. like actually, it's all school and volleyball right now. plus the internet, watching movies, music videos, and listening to my fav music, one of which is ^ that song. it's addicting.
holy cow, everything's so frickin' expensive. or extremely cheap, it's funny.

| 2nd week of school was bad. i had some pretty bad days! i think the worst day was wednesday. i discovered that i did a terrible job with the math hw and got a lot wrong. then brunch i found out that we were supposed to do an online thing for physics for hw points and i FREAKED out cause i didn't know about it! so i went in to see melnik and he said it was ok so i was safe on that, thank god. but then i went into apes and found our that our volunteer plan was supposed to be typed in a paragraph form, so i turned in a typed list of what i was going to do and a written paragraph. and then i got a frickin' bloody nose which wouldn't stop and i didn't want to go to the bathroom. and there wasn't any tissue in the stupid room so i had to use the course paper towel. then physics was ok, btw i got 100% on the quiz :) yay! but then lunch was bad!! so gina and i were working on the other side, but isobel wasn't working, so i had to do the register. and stupid brad zukermnn didn't have enough money on his card, so he gave me a dollar, but i didn't know how to charge it because i didn't know how to do the cash and the card and stuff (but that night i thought of a way i could have charged brad, when i was going to sleep -__-) but that was bad, and then i got a stain from the stupid polish sandwich thing. and then gina scared the hell! out of me because she said that we were late for class, so i SPRINTED out of food service, and then i saw max and nicole and they said that i still had 5 minutes ... >_< then psychology, i forgot to get my notebook, which i had left in my locker, so i had to run to my locker to get it and the combo didn't work for me the first time. then i ran back and then the bell rang and it turned out i had lots of time. omg that was my worst day ever!! and it was still the first rotation .. =__= and then apparently i gave my bad day to anna, because i ranted to her and then she went home and had a bad day :( sorry anna!! lol. but anyway. i'm scared about the test i had this week because i don't think i did too well. especially the scarlet letter quiz. *sigh* oh well it's ok i'll do better! hopefully.
i have rediscovered my obsession for dream street :P idk how it even happened but it did so yeah. and i'm so happy because i got a lot of the songs that i love back. but now i'm afraid to try again to put music on my cell.
so we beat san leandro on tuesday, but lost to miramonte on thursday :( but they were a pretty good team. i did ok, people said i played really well, but i don't feel like i did. first league match is on tuesday against salesian, which the piedmont volleyball team has to say something to. SO COME WATCH US PLAY!! AND BRING YOUR FRIENDS!!!! it should be a good match, especially all the ... feelings that we have towards them. i really really hope we win. friday, we went to annie's house, which btw is huge!! they have 4 flours and a freaking elevator! and theater and everything and is freaking amazing!! anyway we made shirts, and anna and i made natalie's shirt :P we were sooo slow and bad! natalie finished both of ours and made it look amazing! before we even finished hers, and we needed her to fix her own shirt to make it look nice. so sad. but it's the thought that counts!! lol and then after that, natalie, anna, and i went to college ave for sushi and icecream and had a BLAST. basically them making fun of me and then anna and me making fun of natalie at the gas station xD then we went back to natalie's house and watched mulan!! and that was great!! haha had a great time! and then watched zoolander .... which is ok i guess? and then anna's mom drove me home! :)
the rally was cool. i am so jealous of the 09s because thy were amazing! and the balloon arch was beautiful! i wish our grade was cool enough to have one :( haha and i stole a balloon from the rally :D hehe it made me really happy, the blue balloon that was humongous :D.
i am sort of excited for this week, but not really at the same time. and i still need to sign up for SAT and PSAT. uh-oh!!
my favorite freshman is rosalie frank. lol she gave me a tweety chipmunk too! tweety is so adorable!! but i admit the chipmunk is kinda scary xD
physics hw sucks. i hate it, i don't get it. i can't believe this, i'm going to fail physics T__T
